Health Visitors

The health visitors are nurses with special training to advise and promote good health. They work with all age groups, but particularly with families with very young children, the elderly and the handicapped. Patients may be seen at home or in clinic sessions. The health visitors may be contacted at Grove House, Crowborough Hospital, on 01892 669393.

District (Community) Nurses

The district nurses work with the doctors in the community, providing domiciliary nursing services in the patient's own home. Their services are usually requested by the doctor. They are based at Grove House, Crowborough Hospital.

Midwives

Our midwives assist the doctors in the care of expectant mothers before and after birth. They advise on all aspects of antenatal and postnatal care, and work closely with your doctor. Crowborough Birthing Centre is a midwife-run unit at Crowborough Hospital (01892 654080).

Counsellor

Mrs Gemma King who offers counselling to patients by referral from the GPs.
